How to make an Application

Applying for a Permit

The Applications facility allows you to:

  • Submit requests for Certificates
  • Submit an application for a General Law Permit
  • Submit an application for a Public Health Law Permit

Prior to proceeding, please read and familiarise yourself with the "Terms and Conditions". It is a condition of use of this web function that you have done so.

How to submit a request for a certificate or make an application

  • Read about the particular type of request you wish to make. The information below should assist in the process.
  • There are detailed instructions under each "Please read how" link.
  • When you have read the instructions, click on the Applications menu item on the navigation bar at left then choose Submit an Application to begin the process.
  • Select the type of Application you wish to apply for from the Group and Type lists
  • Once you have completed all the steps in your application process and completed the submission you will be provided with a reference number for the request.
  • Keep a note of this number and use if with any correspondence with Manningham City Council.

A replacement bin may be requested if your bin has been stolen or damaged beyond repair. The bin must be the same type and size as the original bin. Please read how

CERTIFICATES

Section 229 Land Information Certificate (LIC)

Standard 229 eCertificate

This certificate contains the rating charges currently held on a property. There is a statutory $20 charge for each certificate. There is a guaranteed turnaround time of less than 3 business days for the certificates.

Xpress 229 eCertificate

This is a priority (Express) certificate which is exactly the same as the one above. An additional priority service fee guarantees a turnaround time of less than 24 hours (Mon-Fri). The statutory fee of $20 (no GST) still applies plus $45.70 (incl GST) for the priority (total $65.70 per request).

All payments may be made using VISA or MasterCard. No credit card details are stored on the computers at the City of Manningham.
The credit card details are passed directly to our payment agency, SecurePay, via secure encrypted communication, validated against your credit availability, then passed on to your bank for payment to the City of Manningham.
Payments will only be deemed paid when the City of Manningham have been advised the funds have been cleared by our bank.

Property Information Regulation 326 Certificates

Regulation 326(1) eCertificate

  • Details of any building permit issued in the preceding 10 years.
  • Details of any current statement issued under regulation 502 or 503.
  • Details of any current notice, order or certificate issued under these Regulations or Act.

Regulation 326(2) eCertificate

Information as to whether the building or land is in an area:

  • Liable to flooding within the meaning of regulation 802.
  • Designated under regulation 803 as an area in which buildings are likely to be subject to infestation by termites.
  • An area determined under regulation 805 to be likely to be subject to significant snowfalls.
  • Designated land or works within the meaning of regulation 806.

Permit to Burn
